A movement for change

In August of 2020, I officially declared candidacy and began our campaign for City Council of the City of Madera's 2nd District. I was welcomed by an outpouring of support from many in our community. This campaign was all about bringing hope, prosperity, and courage to the city of Madera. As one of the youngest, if not the youngest, candidates in Madera County history, I was able to round-up support from people of all walks of life to plant the seed of hope in the hearts and minds of the people of Madera. This work of fostering hope and a good change for Madera continues regardless of any election outcome. Starting mid-August, up to election day, my team and I spent every Saturday morning walking to know that people of District 2. We were welcomed with enthusiasm and hopeful expectation. This experience of meeting the great people of District 2 encouraged me to advocate for them and with them. This first campaign is only the beginning. I am thankful to everyone who encouraged and assisted me through the entire campaign process. Although the election results were not in our favor, one thing is sure: we have taken off on a journey to bring about good and lasting change that will empower and uplift the people of our communities, state, and nation. Our efforts for good have just begun.
